Most of the times we men treat each other based on how we are treated, we give to those who give us, we are keen to help those who help us, keen to be present in the life of people when they are in need based on how they also have been there for us, and those who repeatedly have disappointed us or have never been there for us no matter how much we needed them we tend to also change how we are towards them and treat them as they treated us.
But thank God Christ isn’t like that, because in our walk with God we fail Him daily but thank God for the pure unchanging nature of Christ Jesus, His love for us changes not, His love for us isn’t dependent on how faithful we are but how faithful He is and that is why Romans 5:8 says while we were yet sinners He first loved us. Today I want to encourage you that no matter how many times you have disappointed God, He still loves you and more than willing to be by your side always if only you’ll rest in His perfect love and faithfulness. Allow His love to strengthen your weakness, to motivate you to live better for Him, and to give you hope in Christ’s fulfillment of your heart desires.
Prayer: Lord Jesus thank you for your faithfulness, thank you for your unchanging love towards me, I don’t deserve all the good things you have done for me and those you are about to do but because of who you are you continue to them and I bless your name for it always. Amen!
